On October 22, the Leadership Academy hosted Culturally Responsive Leadership in K-12 Education, a deep discussion about the leadership moves and public policies needed to truly begin to disrupt racism and inequities within and across schools and school systems. The Leadership Academy Chief Access & Equity Officer Mary Rice-Boothe moderated a powerful conversation among The Leadership Academy President & CEO Nancy Gutiérrez, The Education Trust President & CEO John B. King Jr., and Denver Public Schools Superintendent Susana Cordova, exploring the leadership practices and policies needed to, in the words of John King, “mobilize a movement to build a future that is substantially more equitable.”
