On April 4th, 2012, The NYC Leadership Academy hosted a convening of practitioners in Education Leadership in NYC. This is the first convening of the Advisory Group of Young Global Leaders, an international research project being conducted by the University of London.
A dozen Global City Leaders from across the U.S. gathered to share their experience and leadership practices and enable their vision of the future. The group also explored the nuances of school leadership in Global Cities and the intersection of race, age, and gender as experienced by the group.
NYC Leadership Academy is excited to participate as a thought leader in school leadership as our footprint continues to grow here in the U.S. and internationally.
