The work of our alums continues to receive impressive and deserving recognition. Brandon Cardet-Hernandez, principal at Urban Assembly Bronx Academy of Letters, has been named Senior Education Advisor in the NYC Mayor’s Office. As described in Politico, in his new role he will “act as the day-to-day liaison between City Hall and the Department of Education, responsible for drafting, vetting and implementing new and existing policy initiatives, including the Mayor’s signature Equity and Excellence agenda.”
Brandon not only is an Aspiring Principals Program (APP) grad, but received years of coaching from our own Sonia Bu. Congratulations to Brandon!
